Receptionist(s)/Administrative Representative(s) - Dordrecht and the greater Rotterdam area
Berlitz International, one of the world’s leading language service providers, is looking for one fulltime or two part time receptionist(s)/administrative representative( s)for their Rotterdam/Dordrecht branch offices. Overall responsibilities: As the first point of customer contact you’ll play a key role and will be responsible for delivering on the customers’ service expectations for both existing clients and prospects through telephone handling, administrative & planning tasks and support.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Telephone and/or ‘walk-in’ inquiry and appointment handling of existing clients and prospects.
- Reception – welcoming students/prospects, payment handling, stock/supply handling, accommodation & restaurant reservation handling.
- Planning – scheduling of lessons, classrooms and tests.
- Student administration - includes lesson administration.
- Administrative support Language Center Director – incl. sending information to clients and/or prospects.
- Attend training and development workshops to gain relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
Required skills:
- Well presented and businesslike – hospitable and friendly.
- Credible and comfortable in dealing with all types of people and nationalities (from young students to senior company executives.
- Excellent telephone manners, clear diction in both English and Dutch.
- Eye for detail, organized and the ability to prioritize.
- Excellent, level headed communication skills in both English and Dutch in word and writing.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Proactive and problem solving attitude.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft (Power Point, Word, Excel).
Qualifications:
- MBO administrative, marketing, communication or Higher education.
- Languages: Dutch native, fluent English, a third language would be an asset.
