Amsterdam, September 1st , 2010

New learning programs with contemporary, business-oriented real-life content

The Berlitz Schools of Languages of Benelux BV today announced the launch of the upper intermediate and advanced-level topic based component of its product portfolio, a set of language learning programs that combine the conversational, classroom-based Berlitz Method with the most innovative and contemporary real-life and topic based content.

The intermediate and advanced Berlitz topic based programs for English, French and Dutch are built for who want a results-oriented and effective learning tool that is practical and relevant.

Berlitz research shows that customers prefer language presented in very authentic contexts. This is why Berlitz designed topic based language programs that mirror specific business situations real people find themselves in.

Berlitz also found that advanced learners show a greater interest in industry-specific vocabulary and idioms and that they are still interested in improving a broad range of language skills.

In developing the business-focused topic based courses Berlitz consulted with its major corporate clients and with business leaders from major industries.

"The proven Berlitz Method, with its focus on speaking that can be applied in real life situations, remains the cornerstone of the Berlitz experience.", said Eric Werbrouck, Regional Director of Europe.
